Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all getting ready for the fair. Don't forget we will have Round up judging at the roller skating rink at the fairgrounds on Saturday, August 1 beginning at 12 noon. All the kids have to do is bring thier books (or gently remove their books from the tables in the fair building) and bring them to the benches in the skating rink so leaders can "chat" with the youth about their projects. We also need plenty of leaders to chat with the kids. Please have any available leaders arrive at the skating rink at 11:45 to get their "tools"- ribbons together and to stake a seat on the movable benches. Call me if you have questions.

We will also be offering games following the judging at 2PM. The youth will have a great time "playing" with kids from throughout the county. Teen Council will be providing the "fun" We also hope to have a letter cache for the youth to find on the fairgrounds.

Hi 4-H Leaders!
Are you ready for 2009? I am looking forward to a great year. Now is the time to begin to organize your club and have your members start to pick out their projects. Don't forget to update enrollment and medical forms and our educational fee will once again be $15. I hope you are all busy making plans for your auction tables. All families have received donation forms and we are actively seeking auction donations. Please take some time to visit our local businesses to check on their support for our program. Please remind them that all money support received stays within the program to support our youth. Let's use this blog to help communicate ideas. We are working on ideas for a "lock-in" for families to socialize and kids to have fun. More details to follow!
